London Arduino event #4

Our members met on the 13th May at the Hub Westminster for another Arduino Jam event. We’re really glad to see our community growing so fast, with now 185 members and about 30 of them attended the event on Monday.

  •  “What you can do with an ethernet shield and control your Arduino via socket” by Christian

Christian’s code is available here.

Danny showcased his robot kit based on Arduino and demonstrated some simple preprogrammed steps. You can find more info and even buy a kit on his website.

  • Wireless web controlled arduino by Liam

Liam demonstrated how easy it is to connect an Arduino to Internet using a wireless router (in this case the TP-Link N Nano TL-WR702N).

  •  Future of Manufacturing & Luma Project by Mark

In the spirit of collaboration with other makers group, we invited the “Future Manufacturing” group organiser Mark Lomas to talk about his group and present his amazing spaceship project for the Burning Man festival this August!
